The positioning of the knives on the sheaths and relative to the stone looks identical to me in both pics...photoshop magic on the handles?

I don’t think so, look at the hardware. But you’re right, positioning is almost identical.

Noticed only after my first post, but look at the light reflections along the top of the wood handle and along the bottom edges of the tang of both blades - those would be almost impossible to replicate identically in two seperate photos.
