I have only one but this one is great!!

The dealer told me that the blade is "wootz" and I can't resist the temptation to cut with it....hehe, now it has some tiny little scractch on the blade.

In case Bob read this.....can I take care of that tiny scratches myself? I can live with it and it really doesn't matter as it is really small but is the "wootz" etch the same way as the other damascus?

Joe...Thanks for the compliment! Yes, wootz is etched in the same way as other damascus. Taking scratches out of this typr of stee. generally measns re-grindin, polishing and re-etching. Leave it there. I have learned over the years to treat scratches as "honorable battle scars" and accept them as part of a using knife.

Bob,
You don;t know me at all, but I know your work and reputation.
It's great to see you posting here and addressing your customers concerns.
It adds to your reputation to take the time to contact and follow your customers concerns....and adds to the credibility of this board, and your profession.

Hi Bob,

It's great to see you on this forum. There are many previous threads which contain discussions regarding your knives. This could be a valuable collaborative effort between you the maker and us, your customers...perhaps something similar to Sal Glesser's involvement.

Hope to see you more often on the forums.

A Bob Terzuola folder with a wootz blade! That's twice as nice! I've got to find something to wipe this drool off the keyboard.
