bob timberlake 196?

quick question...is the bob timberlake chip flint 196 made of 420hc?? i found one on ebay im gonna get myself with my fathers day money also wondering how well they sharpen up and do the chip marks get in the way or possibly ever make the edge uneven??

I believe it is 420HC, but I have never sharpened a "chipflint" blade. Sorry I can't help there.

I would guess that they will possibly wear different and they are sorta "chunky"

Probably not the best profile for cutting They do look great though!!!!!!!

I love my Timberlake 196's. But, they are for look'n at and not for cut'n
