Bob Warner etcher. full-wave, half-wave???

I have my electronics guru buddy building a Bob Warner etcher for me and he asked "Is it full-wave or half-wave?"

(I assume he means the DC rectifier.) I don't speak 'radio shack' so does anyone know if the BW etchers use full or half wave DC?

Tell him he wants it full wave and filtered (an electrolytic capacitor between full wave briidge positive and negative output). You want a reasonably pure DC level for the etch. After the etch you can switch to AC for darkening the etch.
