Come to think of it...that would make a neat image as either an avatar or in a sig. line (like my spinning pendentive below).

That's some fine carving. Do you carve khuk handles too?

Thanks guys. I like the avatar idea Dan, but I like my bird better. That square/circle design might work it's way into a carving someday though. I have not done a khuk handle yet, I guess when one of mine needs a new one then I will. I just have to finish the model I said I would do for Enrique about a year ago. I am doing a short sword model based on the AK bowie and I have a huge mental block about finishing it. It is like I don't want to have it come out wrong, so I rarely work on it. I have about half a dozen other carvings like that in the works too. Then I can sit down and do one start to finish in a day. I can't explain it. Sometimes it flows out, sometimes you force it out.

I always admire folks who can do stuff I can't. Maybe I could learn to carve like that by the time I hit 100.

Just keep the image around if you like. You'll probably find use for it someday...
