OK,
I was just doing some inventory and I have a sh*t load of BOBs...some as small as an old fountain pen or the smallest Altoids tin to bags that could only be hauled in a car......One just books (heaviest)....
and everything in between....

Shall we dance?
Steve

I too have a bunch of BOBs.

I have 2 in my car:

1# in a back pack about 15 pounds, it has a change of clothes, tarp, food, and a standard mini altoids.

2# a larger one that holds a hatchett, heavy duty rope, lg tarp and a fire extinquisher. it is in a pilot's survival bag. It isn't full so I can add things for different trips.

In the house closet near the door:
1# major S.H.T.F. BOB about 30-40lbs. In a 3 day assault pack. All the essentials I can carry and pick up quickly if need be.
2# a dry sack, full of surplus camp food and such.
3# Assorted empty bags that I can fill with winter clothes or whatever else near by(if I have time)

My EDC has a few kits: standard-mini-Altoids, first aide, and some other goodies. all carried in my daypack about 10-15 lbs.

everytime I go on a trip my wife rolls her eyes as I re-arrange all my kits. I love to do it!
