I always end up finishing knives late at night, or early in the morning, so my pictures always suck.
Anyway, enough with the excuses. This is some damascus that Bill Buxton and I (okay, Bill did most all the work) did during a shop visit about a month ago. He was gracious enough to show me how it was done, and even showed me how to hammer out a blade. This is actually the first blade I ever got to hammer on.
This one has has been hollow ground and is 9 inches OAL with about a 4-inch blade. The handle is Bocoate with some brass wedged in between.
Well, enough with the talk, I'm ready to hit the sack.
Comments and criticism are welcome.
