Bocote and Damascus

Michael, that's a great looking blade. I really like the grind and the damascus pattern. I just gotta get into hollow grinding before I get too set in my stubborn ways. Well done buddy.

Michael, is that the smaller blade we forged to shape or is that one you made from the rest of that twist bar? Turned out nice either way.Your going to have to come back pretty quick and make up some more steel, the way your going. Did you get your forge pipe?

Thanks -- That is the one we forged out. The pipe is sitting in the back of the truck waiting to get hit with the front loader of my dad's tractor. :D
 
when you squish that pipe with the loader bucket, you watch and make sure it doesn't just flatten it like a pancake, and be sure you try and press down on the whole side of the pipe at once or your liable to put a big dent in it. We were going to flatten mine with a forklift, but were afraid it would get overly crushed. Good luck
