It took awhile to try it but I put the Shaptons on the Bodega. This is up to 6K at 20*

Nice!
I'm thinking of getting the 6k soon
Seems to work well
Also shoot me an email about your Hinderer ;)

6K is nice I'm looking at the 16K now. I hated the last 1/4" of the blade near the choil with its blount edge. This thing is nasty sharp now.

The 16k is a very unique stone and works very well. A bit on the extreme side of sharpness for my liking but its fun to play with every now and then. Your bevel will likely look worse than it did from the 6k however, the 16k will highlight ANY coarser scratches left behind. Works wonders for making coarser finished edges scream though, you can follow the 500, 1k, or 2k with the 16k and get some scary sharp edges.

I always like reading your sharpening input. Thanks
For this one I used 320, 500, 1K, 4K, 6K

The next stone I would add would be the 2000, makes the 1k to 4k jump smoother also allowing for finer finish from the 4k. You will find the 4k and 6k to benefit a lot after adding the 2k.

Thanks again

Same treatment on the light chopper. Have mercy on whatever this sucker hits 😆
