Well, I must say I had high hopes for this one. Leonardo is an actor I set out to hate after Titanic, and yet he came out with a number of great films afterwords. Gangster's of New York, the Aviator, the Departed. Matched with Russell Crow, I was hoping for something with the grit of Departed but set in the CIA spy world.
I have to say I was pretty disappointed. The plot just never grabbed me. Neither Leonardo nor Russell were very convincing in their roles. Crow just seemed like he was trying to ham it up on every scene he was in and ultimately his character wasn't all that important to the movie.
The best part of the movie was the opening....It sort of went downhill from there. Anybody else see it?
