I was wanting to see some pics of knives that have had bodycote applied. And how much it costs?I saw a post from someone that worked there and said it was in Greensboro,NC.Does anyone know if you can drop knives off there i will be visiting there soon. Thanks

I bought a Camillus D2 arclite from A.G. Russell & had it shipped directly to Bodecoat to have the Diamond DLC coating applied.

Including the sandblasting to remove all the "graphiti" removed it cost $25.00 including shipping. If I had other blades to coat at the same time they would have done them for $2.00 an inch.

I am putting together a collection of my favorite knives to have done soon all at once!!

The finished coat depends on if the blade you have done is mirror pollised, satin, etc. as the coating is only microns thick, so it does not fill in any scratches of etching.

Hope this helps.

Anytime someone's in the Greensboro area please stop by the new
Bodycote plant for a tour, just call Olga Smith and set up a time
prior to your visit. I can't promise 24 hour service and free lunch like Dexter Ewing got last weekend though.
