Which Emerson blade finish, once worn badly, would be easier for a professional to remove? I have a feeling it's the black finish.

It seems like buying a 2002 Commander in black, using it till the finish looks bad (like the blade on my old BM Stryker), then having it Bodycoted is a good way to go. I'll bet you could have the blade done for under $40.

Has anybody here had their Emerson Bodycoted?

its my understanding that Bodycote wont coat individuals blades any longer, was gonna have a MT LCC done, and they wont..........just too much trouble for them i guess........if ya have any luck w/them let me know, i'll try again. have been thinking about having 'robar' put on it, a finish popular on guns, kinda like what on glocks, might work pretty good, but who knows?? anybody??

Hehe, I dunno, I kinda like the way my CQC7's black blade looks after a year and a half of constant use. Starting to wear away and all. Makes it look nice and used. = )
