Hey ya'll!
Nah, unfortunately I'm not getting a Bog Dog, but I finally pursuaded Nico to send his over along with one of his sheaths so I could shoot a few pics for his site!
Can't wait to see both knife and sheath! I'll be sure to post review and pics when I have had time to play around with it! (It'll only take a few years! :p )
Hopefully Nico won't need it back anytime soon! :D :p
Here's a snapshot Nico just took:

that is really bueatiful... ever since i saw the style of it on my BM nimravus HS, ive liked it better then others... especially their crazy logo melt bussiness in the center of it... gotta learn how to do that soon...

Looks very good--I'm enthralled with pretty much every Nico sheath I see. :)

Nico's sheaths are excellent for sure! And having seen the first very good sheaths he made up until the stuff he makes today, he has come a long way in a very short time!
But enough with the praise, we don't wanna make his head swell! :p :D

Sweeeet!! I like it! Nico is really coming of his own eh?? :D:D

Weeell, just got the BogDog and two of Nico's excellent sheaths today!
I gotta admit that I wasn't overly impressed with the knife when I took the first look at it, but slowly it dawned on my why people rave about this thing!
Damn good balance, great feel in hand and - I dunno how else to describe it - user friendly!
Belonging to a sheathmaker, I figured it would probably be slightly dull!
That was a gross understatement! It was as dull as the surface of an orange!
A couple of minutes of work with a medium Lansky stone cured that.
It's my first experience with D2 and a damn good one! Pretty easy to sharpen and takes a wicked edge!

I haven't put it to real work yet, but it's bound for some kitchen duty soon and will be going with me in the woods tomorrow!

As mentioned, Nico sent two of his own sheaths along; one "sandwich" and one folded.
Without having done much testing, I prefer the sandwich model with a pretty clever, removable webbing beltloop, but they are both excellent sheaths.
Now, I am not saying this because Nico is a good friend, but these sheaths are damn good and if you need a sheath for your BogDog (or whatever) you oughta give Nico a holler! Great work!

And before you start standing in line to whine over missing pics.....here they are!:D :p More to come in the next couple of days.
