I just did this one this evening and there will be more to come. :D

It is made of .090" black kydex and is equipped with a Tek Lok. The Sheath is set up for multiple position carry with the Tek Lok. You can carry it right or left handed, canted or whatever you want. What do you guys think?

I ordered my first Swamp yesterday a Bog Dog. Because the Kydex sheath was about 49$. I decided to make one myself and i am not looking forward to it, because it ll be my first sheath.

I hope it will turn out as beautiful as yours.

The first is the hardest. My first few are in a box in the basement. A reminder of my education through trial and error. I have done over 50 and I find I change my technique a little each time. Maybe someday I will do enough to be as good as the likes of Oku, but I ain't holding my breath. :D

Thanks for the kind words guys.

John

Where do you guys buy Kydex to make sheaths? I am thinking about giving it a try. What other tools do you use?

Thanks

I get mine various places. Just have to find a source near you. I use various sanders, grinders, moto tools, drill presses, scroll saws, an arbor press and a lot of elbow grease. I started out with a heat gun, hand punches and sand paper.

Nice job John! That looks fantastic. How do you like the dog?

I think it is awesome, the BD that is. It is sharp as hell too. I will definietly be using this one, especially around the kitchen.

Thanks for the kind words on the sheath Andrew.
