If I wanted to replace my Bog Dog as my light utility/edc knife. Which Busse would be a good selection? I want it similar in size or smaller. What about the BA-3? Thanks.

A BA3 variation would be you best bet. Something in the Anorexic Badger selection, such as the Jungle CPAB I sold last week. If you are looking for something like that, email me.

There have been a bunch of Badgers for sale on the B/S/T forums in the last few months. Another one knife that would fit the bill (IMHO) would be the Tanker, that's if you can find one.. :)

Don't forget about the Active Duty. .15" INFI w/ a zero edge. Same handle shape as the Bog Dog, just thinner.

Brother, think long and hard about that one: The companies each offer advantages that make them unique. You're not going to get swamp ergos on a Badger III, but then you're not going to get Nucarta indestructability from resiprene. The new Meaner Street will give you the closest ergos as far as shape and comfort, but it'll be hard to find, and expensive when you do. The Badger Attack III is nice, but I've had to cord wrap and friction tape wrap mine to get it to fit in my hand comfortably, while I'm sure your bogdog is comortable with no modification. After reading some of your posts around the Wasseon forums it looks like you're starting down the same long and very expensive road I've been on for about 2 years now. In the end I discovered that the complete package is more important than key features on a specific package. And sometimes I find that SR101 offeres a more complete package compared to a superior INFI product that hasn't found it's way into use. Blasphemy! they say, but I figure buying SR101 just gives Jennifer more $$$ to buy Jerry JWB for Valentine's day... It's all good!

looking at Drew's comparison picture, the one that comes to mind is the Leaner Meaner Street. They rarely seem to come up, but that sure looks like a winner to me. These are my favorite size Busses. But I have to question that thickness for the AD. Mine is the same as the LrMrS: 0.15" Are these from different generations?

If you can find one the BAe is just an amazing knife. Somewhat bigger than the Bog Dog but you wouldn't be sorry for getting something a litte larger, IMHO. They are usually reasonably priced also. I've seen them with sheath for about $300.00. Look around and try a be patient and I think you'll find what you want for a good price.

As far as starting and finishing with.... I went down the SRKW road also, then ended up here. And personally, I have No Regrets! :D
