Bog oak user with a vegetable tanned covered in chrome tanned sheath

I made this bog oak user as a ´thank you´ for somebody who helped me a lot.
The sheath is vegetable tanned (sole)leather covered with chrome tanned leather.
It has a beld loop plus a carbine hook to quickly attach it.

What do you guys think?

Whats your reasoning / idea for using those leather's?

The vegetable tanned to hold the knife, the chrome tanned for its looks. (black to match the handle)
It's the first panc cace style sheeth I've done.
I've done wrap around before, they only have stitching on one side and are smaller. I think I prefer them
