Still figuring all this out, but here goes:

Nice start Michael, but maybe you could adjust the settings so it comes out a with a little more light on it...or use photoshop or something to adjust the picture.

Phil's knives are great...played with them at BAKCA...

Thanks. I found that if I place it diagonally, it picks up the satin finish a little more.

For some reason MacOS 10.1 blows away a lot of my scanner functionality. I'm back at 10.0.4 today and installed 9.2.1 on another partition just in case.

Michael,

Looks like you're really getting the hang of it! Now it's time to learn how to "thumbnail" images so when you post them they don't take so long to load. There's a thread in the custom forum about it. That last one looks great!
