One of my favorite production knives is the Benchmade Mini-Spike. This lead me to consider buying a custom Spike (or other knife) from Phil Boguszewski. However, despite occasional references to his talents, I was surprised to see very little discussion of his knives on bladeforums. Why is this? I searched the Knife Exchange boards for past sales of Boguszewski knives, and only turned up one. I could find almost no references to his knives on other boards.
Are his custom spikes collectible? Are they still made? What is a custom spike worth? Do any online custom knife dealers carry Boguszewski?
