What knifemakers have worked with these steels (chipper)??????? How are they heat treated and how hard are they to work??

I don't know anything about the K329, but I have some of the K340 Isodur. From what I can make from the spec sheets, the K340 is sort of like an enhanced, vacuum melted A2(which would be a very good thing, IMO) :)

Beautiful girl, but unfortunately, to an old geezer like me, she looks like Mummy and Daddy just bought her a pair of implants as a Sweet 16 present:eek: Who is this healthy looking child? lol

I think the K329 is like a modified A8 from the specs but not sure. And I am wondering if Johanning is using it in his Mod A8 knife and not calling it that.

Sorry, but my sources tell me that implants do NOT jiggle around like that. ;) :)
 
It's simply cruel to post pics like that with no name......how are we supposed to oogle....er I mean Google her without a name? :D As to the original question Rumor has it that Busse INFI is mod A8 and if that's true then the stuff makes some great blades. How common is modified A8 to get a hold of and what about heat treating?
 
Work Tuff just released a fixed blade made out of k329. Think it's called the Little Evil. I am thinking of buying one then seeing what the steel is all about? It's supposed to be somewhere between A8 and S7?🤔
