Why yes, as a matter of fact it is!

I was very happily surprised this evening when I arrived home from the salt mine.
It is now dark by 17.30. It was pouring with an intensity that makes people build arks while I ride to work on my MTB.
When I got in I was like a drowned rat.
But wait ... a package for me on the table...hmmm not expecting anything just at the moment....whos that from?
waynorth! .
Had to get changed first-too wet and cold. arrrg the agony.
I knew straight away that here lay my reward for my
modest ,humble effort with the Flipp-a-lid 2000 and associated marketing ploy
Charlie ,Thank you Sir for your generosity.

Congrats man! you surely deserve it :)
Considering the change in your facial expression from the first picture to the second, it's really clear that you were happy to get that knife :D

Fausto

yeah it gets a bit hot riding my bike with my roo suit on. The pouch is handy though:p

Glad it got there safely, Meako! Congratulations!! And enjoy it, rain or shine!!

Sorry it took a while . . . .

I have been remiss in my duties. There are a few more prizes to be sent, and I must open the thread again for comments etc.
That thread produced some most enjoyable, traditional hilarity. so much so that I ignored the original parameters, and decided to award prizes on how long it took me to get up off the floor after experiencing the posts!:D

No official name yet! "Solution To One Problem In (my fuzzy) Thoughts" or, "Stop It" is the current, but weak front runner!
:D:D

Say is that fellow resting in the sand the postman?? Pouch and all that, I just thought. . . .??

Very well-deserved Meako, your posts in that thread were excellent and had me in stitches

Great prize Charlie, that was a very fun contest :)

(Did you get on the Skippy pic I posted the other week Meako? ;) )

Congratz on that working horse. I´m sure, you´ll like that one. I got mine as a gift from Sarah and I really like that blade.

Well done, Charlie :)

Thanks Guys. Yes its an absolute pearler.
Sturzi-thanks mate -nothing like a bit of team work /marketing consultation. Cheers.
Jack -i'll have to have another look -I'm a big Skippy fan. In Australia the migrants of various European backgrounds have long referred to the Anglo aussies as Skip or skippies. The best episode of Skippy was when he jumped in the river and fought off sharks.Cheers.
SweptEdge-not a lockback but "gimme a half stop, and make it snappy!"
Thanks all round especially Charlie for coming up with the idea.
Unfortunately the pic does not do justice to the vivid delrin orange(somehow picks up all my wrinlkles and blemishes tho)-I love it. Its a fireman s knife.

Charlie-I have to say I found your comment comparing the postman to a kangaroo profoundly offensive and rude to macropods of all species.May I ask the question?

Whats the difference between a kangaroo and the postman?
One's a painfully slow dull witted creature from Australia and the other hops around in the bush.
CHEERS
