Boker 2040 vs. Airport security

I have a Boker Delta 2040 that has a ceramic blade and titanium handles. Will it pass through the detectors at airports?

I am not certain what metals those machines pick up. I really don't have the guts to try and don't want to bother asking the security, as I know I would get a different answer for each person there I spoke to. Anyone know or have experience with this? thanks in advance!

I know it wont pick up the titanium handles but I havent had any experiance with ceramic handles though.......
 
The ceramic blade will pass through a metal detector. The Ti handles will pass through some metal detectors, depending on their method of operation (some detect only ferrous metals (iron), and others detect any metal). Of course, there may be stainless steel hardware on the knife, which would be detected, if the detector is set sensitive enough. In other words, there is no set answer. If you feel the need to keep your knife on you, just walk through and don't act guilty, like you're trying to sneak the knife through. If you feel that it isn't worth the trouble, pack it in your luggage.
