Is anyone into Boker 300 layer damascus folders ? I have 2 that I dont
carry often...not because theyre enpensive. I would to sell them and get a
knife Id use.
The process of making a damascus blade is quite time consuming and
labor intensive( 18-24 hrs).Boker has most of their damascus blades made by
Markus Balbackin in Soligen Germany. He had a forging area connected to his
house where he makes the blades for Boker and ships them the U.S. for shaping, grinding, etc.etc.
I bought these Bokers when I got into knives a few years ago and have gone into different less expensive knives....I found with the Boker
damascus most of what youre paying for the very fancy damascus blade.
