Just looked at the new Applegate Fairbairn Harsey knife and was wondering if anybody had a picture of the sheath front and back so I could see what kind of knife retention system it uses and the mounting options for the knife?
This piece comes complete with a foliage green premium tactical sheath, manufactured by Spec-Ops Brand (USA), which can be mounted in various positions and has a pouch on top, for other gear (such as a multi-tool).
If anybody had some info or pics on the sheath for this knife I would appreciate it. I am really wondering if it is a molle or alice compatible sheath and if it has a loop for a belt.

Although I would prefer a picture of the actual sheath. I am putting a link to specops website so you could as an option tell which sheath it is or is similar too. If that would work better for whomever has that information.

It is pretty much identical to the Combat Master sheath over on the
Spec Ops site. Very good workmanship on it.

What is the deal with these knives? Everywhere I have looked they say they won't be available until August.

The first run sold out in about 2 days when they first came in.
Germany is working on them as fast as they can.
