Purchased this Boker ADC last night as a sort of back up backpack knife when I go trail riding on my mountain bike. I really like the blade shape, tactical look and that it has a fitted kydex sheath, really curious what Boker means when they list this knife as "440" seems a little vague, so many knife companies list there knives as 440. What grade is it and is it a quality blade that will take and hold a decent edge. Thanks.

'Thank you for purchasing this one.
The blade is 440-A and if it can hold an edge, depends on what you are going to do with it.
So, having this as a back up when riding your mbt, it will serve you more than well.

If you are going on a 4 weeks hunting trip only the knife, a backpack and you... I would suggest getting something of higher quality

Cool, thanks for the response, I got the knife in yesterday, was actually sent the wrong one, I ordered the one with dark brown handles and received the one with tan handles. That's ok because I had planned on getting both anyway, I just finished tying on a lanyard and mounting a custom tensioner on the kydex sheath. The knife clicks in nice and securely but I just like a little more tension on my knife so it won't pop out as easily while doing outdoor activities. I really like the knife, came with a nice sharp edge, should work fine for my lite duty woods endeavors with it, here's a couple of pics.
