Boker anniversary

I've only been collecting knives for about a year. I have several Boker folders with the 140 JAHRE shield. It's my understanding those were only made in the 140th anniversary year (2009). Is that correct and are they worth any more than any others?

You are correct about the year. There's not a big price differential for the 140 JAHRE shields right now - and no one really knows for sure what will go up in value. But take a look at the 125 year shields from 1994. They are becoming more difficult to find, and the price is increasing.
Buy a bunch of 'em and hold on to them for 15-20 years. You'll do O.K. I would bet.
