Just sharing a few pics of my new Boker Anso Solo. I am very happy with this knife out of the box. I like the large and wide spear point blade. The finish on the blade is cool with the grinds being stonewashed and the flats being satin finished. The large thumb studs are easy to get purchase on and fit with the overbuilt style of the knife. The aluminum handles are utilitarian but comfortable. The pocket clip is very plain and frankly quite ugly. It comes installed right hand/tip down but can be moved to right hand tip/up if desired. It opens quite smoothly and has good fit and finish. It's a good sized knife (see last pic for comparison). They are also coming out with a smaller version called the Solo II that will be almost an inch shorter. The N690 Bohler Steel is similar to VG-10 and should have decent edge retention and be easy to sharpen.

If you don't like the handle scales I think this knife begs to be pimped.

Looks very nice, thanks for sharing the images. The general shape of the design reminds me of the Spyderco Lum Chinese folder, with the handle and blade forming a nice arc.

This solo is a bit large for my taste, but looking forward to the smaller Solo II!

Yeah, it is a pretty large knife. I will definitely be getting the Solo II as well when it comes out.

Congrats on the knife and thanks for posting pictures from various angles and the
comparison picture is visually helpful. Will be looking into the Solo II.

These have a ceramic ball bearing too, very nice touch! I did have to really polish the pivot area as well as the path for the bb detent. The satin finish on the blade was causing a lot of roughness. After polishing everything up, its butter smooth against the ceramic ball. Really love this design by Mr. Anso, thank you!

I'll tell ya I love this knife, saw one just recently and was immediately drawn to it. Love the Boker Anso stuff.
