I just got my boker anso whale in yesterday and I love it. But I had a problem first thing i notice is that the grind lines are all funky and weird so I stonewashed it myself because i hate the really shiny blade. Then after I did that I was playing with it and i noticed the grind on one side is different than the other side on the one side it tapers off about 1/2in from the tip and the other side tapers off at just over an inch from the tip when I look at pictures they are the same on both sides i contacted the seller but I just wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem or am I the only one with this problem. this is my first boker and so far they are off to a bad start but the design from anso is great love it but this is a problem I can't ignore. Also I took it apart and I noticed that the number 19 is scratched on both pieces of the ti and on the g10.

Those seem to be the breaks for the Boker plus line...cool designed knives, poor execution/qc... It's unfortunately the case for a low price point and I have a couple of their plus line knives.

yeah i just wish it was better other than the blade everything is nice it is smooth and the handles are great one of my favorites but boker is not on my list of good knife makres anymore except the 67 which i really want

I've had really good luck with Boker, and Boker Plus. The fixed blades and folder's I've had from Boker Plus have excellent ed.ges, and great fit/finish. The Boker products have all been folders, and these also were very good, though a tad more expensive! Don't give up on them just yet and not on only one product. There is a Boker forum here at BF's that you might want to visit

I recently got an Boker Plus S2 Sniper Bladeworks Design and although it could use better refinement overall, the knife is not bad - it flips as good as flippers costing several times as much. The blade work is superb but the finish work around the tang and lock bar could be a bit prettier - all in all though, for $50, she is really nice and I actually bought her for the blade profile. Wide, FFG, long and a modified Wharnie style profile too. She is also VERY comfortable in hand and an added bonus, there is no China anywhere on the blade :D She functions quite well and locks up solid too. Blade is centered as well. Here's mine and I like her a lot so far:
