I am finally getting done with my little venture to the sandier parts of the world and would like to donate my Boker Armed Forces knife to another service member or someone who would like to gift it to a service member they know. I picked this knife up for fun and really didnt get to use it much next to my Buck that I brought with me. If you are getting ready to head out or know someone that is that could use a disposable cutter, post in this thread. Please be honest, I will not be checking on the validity of any claims as I have found that the community here is full of trust worthy individuals.

I will be shipping this from my deployed location, so shipping times will vary heavily. After I ship, I will not be able to track or ensure delivery as I will be in transit.

The knife has been flipped and dropped once which scratched the black finish just a tad. Still sharp and functional though.

This veteran thanks you for both your service and for what you're doing here.

Awesome gesture. I have a good friend who did something similar when he departed his last deployment with the Corps. He says although he misses that knife (it was a Randall - it was the early 70s and he handed it to a "Cherry" as he passed him on the TARMAC), he still smiles every time he thinks about it.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your ethic.

Sincerely,
Paul

I am Retired Army and still work with the military. My son is on Active Duty at Ft. Bliss and my daughter is finishing AIT before heading to Airborne School in January.

I think what you are doing is great! We did similar things when leaving from OIF I and III, but with TV's, fridges and DVD players.

And in reference to Ed G, I don't think I could ever hand over a Randall willingly!

One of my Airmen is deploying again in March, wouldn't mind sending something useful with her. But maybe save this for someone in one of the military branches that goes outside the wire.

Everyone who goes over is out where they could use a good cutter. Shoot me an address in either a PM or Email and I can have it out during the week when I get some off time to hit the PO. I myself am an "Airman" and can say that we all do good work. :)

This one will be on it's way to an Airman :)

Thanks for all your kind words and support for those of us who will be here long after me. To all our veterans and all our current servicemembers, keep safe and see you home soon.

PS: Thank you to the mod for moving this, I was not sure if I should have posted it in Exchange and err'd on the side of caution.
