BOKER ARMED FORCES TANTO 2 (the big boy)

Just paying some respect to a underrated, under appreciated, and not regonized enough Tactical Folding Knife. I think what turns people away from this knife is the "China" stamp on the blade, but the quality is NOT hendered at all. I mean come on, Large textured G-10 handle scales, strong steel liners, and a 440C steel blade. It also has a strong pocket clip that can be mounted in all 4 positions. Lock up is solid, no play at all and I've used this one and taken it apart few times.
I paid $25.00 for this knife, what a great quality-price-performance ratio. It is razor sharp to say the least.
The liner lock is deep enough between the two handles that it cannot be closed with a firm grip, I have had problems in this area with more expensive folders.
Not to mention it can be waved out of pocket just as easy as any Emerson or spyderco that has the wave feature.
I have been EDCing this knife because it meets all my needs for a unbelievable price..

Overall length: 9 1/3"
Blade length: 3 3/4"
Weight: 6.8 oz.
That is alot of knife for the money

I agree so with you. I bought my first one a few years ago when they came out. Have a couple of the smaller sized ones now. Loved the way the knife would snap open as I pulled it out of my pocket. Excellent quality for the price range it is in. I do like a tanto.. is a very useful utility blade. I think that the knife is now being offered in a spear point. (?). Great idea that the pocket clip can be installed in four differnet positions.

I also like the little dagger like 'agent'.

Proof that you can carry an inexpensive knife

I used to have the larger version. It was a nice knife, I would love to see Boker make this model in desert tan.

I have the tanto and the spear point version.
Also have the fixed blade tanto, a big knife.

Love them.
Sturdy, nice edge retention, real workhorses.

I always meditate about the fact that the SAME BLADE is present in the kalashnikov series, and it doubles or triples the prices just because of the name kalashnikov. Silly.

It's great to find relatively inexpensive blades that really deliver. I'm kinda surprised every time I see folks using tanto blades for game prep. (says a guy with really limited first-hand experience) :)
