Hi Everyone,

I was looking at a Boker Barlow and found one with a green micarta handle and brass bolsters on the interweb. I really like the look of the dark green and brass. Never had a Boker before. I was a bit surprised at the price and thought it would have been much less. I have considered the brand a less expensive brand. Their prices over a few I looked at are higher than many Case and some GEC (two brands I like).

What type of quality does Boker produce and are their prices fair for their products?
Anyone have one of their Barlows they could attest to?

Thanks in advance!

I have three Boker barlows and as I’ve stated in another thread recently. I have found them to be well made. Yes, they are a little pricey but for me their quality is worth the cost. I believe the one that you are looking at is the highest priced. The two wood handled ones that I have are significantly less.

There is already a thread started for this topic...

F&F and overall quality is very good (usually much better than Case). What I don't like about these barlows is that blades are somewhat thin and small. Never the less I like them.

Killer set!

At the time I bought this one, the price was just a little more than a Case. I would say that I got my money's worth.
