Boker batman?

I'm a big fan of boker knives and a huge fan of batman. so naturally when i saw the batman on boker's website i knew i had to get one. Anyways I try to shop locally because i like seeing good stores in business and having a place to go to to check stuff out. However I put any order in for a batman months ago at a local store here in orange county, and still no reply. And i've been trying to refrain from buying online because i'd like to give my business to this store, but Is there a very limited availability on this model? I see it on all kinds of websites for sale. Could someone give me more info on this?

Boker probably sent all of their knives to those retailers that placed an order first. Chances are that your local store didn't place an order before all on-line retailers. Boker USA probably only had a limited number of the Batman folder to fill initial orders and you may have to wait until the second run or go ahead an order on-line.

No one had the Batman months ago. If I remember correctly they have only been available in the U.S. for a few weeks now.
