The steel used is 420 stainless. I have the Aikuchi version of Nealy's knife in 440C and I like it. I think you'd like the sheath system.

I agree. The magnets are by far the smartest retention system for neck carry so far.

420 steel should not be a choice for a quaity knife .

True, but that thing being a defense knife, it will stab and slash just as well as a custom, and you won't miss it as much when it becomes State evidence.
