I thought you might like to see this Boker pen Knife. It was made in 1907, the 40th anniversary of Canada's formation. The handle is sterling silver and depicts the crests of the Canadian provinces at the time from left to right in order of their joining the federation. Alberta and Saskatchewan, previously part of the Northwest territories, had just joined in September 1905. The people of Newfoundland voted in 1869 to remain a British colony and did not become a part of the country until 1949. A nice little historical knife.

You wouldn't want to re-patriate that knife back here to Canada would you?? Nice one s-k!!

That is a very nice piece.
I can see why my northern neigbors would really want to get that away from you.

Very nice one that, s-k
I like the little tree engraved on the smaller blade

Thanks everyone for the kind feedback. I think I'll hang-on to this one for awhile. There is a tree stamp on the back of both blades which is a characteristic of older Boker knives. Have a great day and Happy Thanks-giving to all of my American friends.
