Boker Cera-Titan blades

i´m interested in this too, i bet a few here have tried these blades. however i bet they are infact quite brittle at least compared to steel, probably very hard to sharpen them also, because they will get dull, it may take a longer time but they will still lose their sharpness at some time.

so why take a chance? i´ll stick with steel for at least 10 years more but thats just me.

Saw this knife on AG Russell's site:

http://www.agrussell.com/knives/by_maker/a_through_d/boker/boker_lambda_folder.html

I've read about ceramic blades and their brittleness. The claim on the site for the cera-titan blades tho is that they're a bit flexible. Just wondering if others have experience with the Cera-Titan blades.

Thanks.

prolly the wrong place. MOST people here dont seem to have much interest in Ceramic based blades. I like Bokers ceramic blades though.

I have this one ,which is made by kycera actually.
It is very sharpe & light weight .
It is claimed that it is better than other steel .
but i think the average is the light weight (it may be a mixture of ceramic & titanium ).
but at the cost veiw , I think we should buy the good steel ,such as ats35,ou13,vg10 ,n690, or even zdp-189 .....
