I have a mint condition Boker chef knife with a contoured handle and a super-hard black ceramic blade for sale. The ceramic in the blade of this knife is one of the hardest substances known to man, and it is much harder than any steel can be hardened up to. As a result, this knife will hold an edge well for a ridiculously long time.
The chef knife listed here have never been used or resharpened, and the Boker edge on it is sharp. As mentioned before, the knife is in mint condition, with no scratches or marks that I could find on it.
