Please tell me where is my dream fix blade :grumpy: ? I have been waiting this one for months and I have one request for good people from Boker USA. Please release this model asap.

Daywalker, Please pull some strings for us.:thumbup:
 
Well, if you want to, you can order it from Germany (may need to know a little German though). Barring that, I'd give it another couple of months before it arrives in the US.

For what it's worth, I had family visiting Europe a couple of months ago. Wish they were visiting now.:(

Edit: In case it's not that obvious, I really want one too!
 
Just did a quick search on google, and these are already on sale on a few websites. take care

I preordered an MPT Gray (PE) just today in germany will probably take 3 weeks
I will keep you fellow kniveknuts up to date

Thanks for the great compliment, although perhaps you should wait before you call it your "dream FB"!:p Now ya got me all nervous...I don't wanna disappoint.

I know there was some final tweaking being done to the sheath...so soon, pretty soon!

You are the man. I like all your designs. Just tell them to release it asap. I know some people are picky about sheath. IMHO, I can get good sheath in many places in these days. I also have kydex press so I can get one functional sheath in lesss than 20 minutes. :D
 
According to my german dealer the knive will be in stock of the 9th . As Daywalker mentioned they have some trouble with the sheaths. I don't know anything about these fabrication difficulties. So anyone with more info can chime in on that matter.
So far on my promised update.

I think the design is a nice sturdy EDC for a good price with a decent steel.
I also know that the picture on the boker is not accurate as their are some refinements in the handle . The jimping on the handle will be more refined as mentionded by daywalker/CLB.
I'm really looking forward on this one.(.)Y(.)

Thanks for keeping this thread alive. With all the talk of the SubClaw and Drop Point Trance, I was afraid that people would forget the MPT.:( Ooh...ya make a sheaths? We *may* have to "talk story" one day!:p

Thanks for the info. I do know that two production prototypes made it into the USA recently!:eek: Not for me however...it's for a magazine article, so those went to the editor. Said editor promised to tell me about the MPT's upon their arrival to him!:thumbup:

We received a couple samples, and man, were they nice.
Should be a few weeks, and we should have regular stock.

Another CLB fixed blade held up by sheath issues. Well we can at least hope it isn't as bad a sheath is that last one. :D

As long as the blade is nice i can always make a leather sheath myself.
LOL . I don't worry to much about that . You can still steal your girl revlon turbo charged hairblower to take care of rattling sheaths..

One went to the author you wanted it to, DW has the other on a business trip, and the other, I believe is in his office.
I didn't get to keep one, just played with it.
I'll talk to Dan and see what is planned.

Nope, I didn't get one...yet. See, the initial ones are used for photography purposes, and sent out to any editors who showed an interest in the design. Then of course, Boker USA's Head honcho takes one/some with him to vendors.

Usually, I can get one after all that...but then the folks in Europe always get my designs first.:(

Hey Ter,

I just wanna know how it felt, how the handle was, is it dual material, sharpness, etc...if you have time, and can tell us about such details, I wouldn't mind hearing about it!;)

Hey Chad, have a look at the German Böker Forum in the next days, Beagleboy told us that the MPT arrived in Germany. The first orderer will get them soon.
