Hey BF,
A friend of mine picked up a Boker Chicken Hawk and after seeing it, I was hooked and happened to see one for sale on the exchange and jumped on one myself. In full disclosure, i am no expert on tomahawks. After some Google Fu, it looks like they are a licensed copy of the American Kami Micraxe. Beyond that, I didn't see much additional about either on the interweb.
Personally, I found the ergonomics, fit and finish and heft fantastic. That is what pulled me in. As far as usefulness, however, it might work well for minor camp craft but a well made hatchet would excel at virtually every task. It wouldn't be my first choice as a self defense weapon either.
Not exactly sure what to do with it, but I know I like it and it feels damn good in hand and would make one hell of a cool paperweight.
Anyway, curious if anyone has any insight or opinions on either or of these two Tomahawks and how do you use them?
