Every once in awhile I paw through my knife collection and come across one of my Chad Los Banos knives.

They always stop me in my tracks. I have to pull them out and appreciate them. There are a few points where they really excel.
1. Ergonomics
2. Great modern looks
3. Value

With the ergonomics, slim design looks and price. The Trance and subcom series are my favorite knives to give as gifts. Ease of carry (Which is very important when trying to addict a non-knife person) and secure grip in hand can not be beat. My friend has been carrying his Trance for a year or so now. It has held up for him like a champion, I've only sharpened it for him once and he uses it every day.

Chad your designs are amazing!

Please share your appreciation! (and which ones are your favorite)

Trance is probably my all-around favorite - opens as fast as anything else that I have and it's such a wonderful knife in a perfectly sized package. Very useful, yet not of an intimidating size.

The WharCom is what I take for EDC in cities, states and countries where I ought not carry a weapon.

I've given more SubComs as gifts than any other knife. They are uniformly appreciated and carried by all the giftees.

I like the M-Type a lot, but find that I don't carry it so much. Part of that is that it's a little on the eyebrow-raising large side, so I hesitate to use it around some folks. It works great, though.

Wharcom is an EDC for me at work. Fantastic little knife that stands up to phenomenal abuse. I also have a Subcom fixed blade and Karambit. Both punch well above thier weight/price.

Top banana
