Hi all,

I traded for a Boker Copperhead and have to say it has become my favorite pattern. it's versatile, has great carbon blades and is an all around handy knife.

anyone else have one and like it?

take care,
Brett

I have about 10 copperheads (Boker and Henckel). Love them....I usually carry one in my back pocket.

One of my favorites too!

nice knifes there augustus.
I really like the washboard bone.
Thanks for showing the pictures.

(another knife on my list :p )

I have one of the Boker Tang Stamp series with two shields, and it's a good solid knife. But I'm not really a copperhead fan.

I got one off the bay in Washboard Bone like the one above, Perfect F&F, blades centered, no play, smooth operation and the grinds are exact! Great knife for the $$!

I have the washboard bone Copperhead and Trapper. I love Copperheads, they are one of my favorite patterns. The appaloosa bone is next on my list.

I used to have one, but I traded it to some guy in Oklahoma.;)

Now I have an alox Wenger Standard Issue that I've been enjoying.

Hey There!!!

Seriously, foilist, it's an AMAZING knife. Glad you tired of basking in it's beauty...:D

hope the wenger does you well!

Congrats! I like copperheads quite a bit, too. I have a Queen copperhead in ACSB and D2 in my pocket right now. :)
As for your comment on your Boker seeming large... This one's pretty small. Anybody compared the two (Boker and Queen)?

I'm glad you're enjoying the Copperhead. I really like the shape, feel, and look of it but like some mentioned, it is pretty big. I had originally gotten it as a sort of dressy knife, but it was too much for dress pants pockets (a peanut fulfills that role now). I realized that I wasn't doing much with it except looking at it and fondling it, so it had to go. Now that Wenger is something that I have been putting to work. It's also big but it's flat, and thus more pocket-friendly. Good trade!

Excellent trade friend!!!
Enjoy that wenger. it's a great knife. Glad I have three more....:eek:

I just got one of the Boker Copperheads in Appaloosa bone and I must say that it's quite a nice little knife for the money. Fit and finish were pretty darn good, excellent jigging on the scales and the blades were both sharp and well centered. Not bad for a sub $40 knife (found on the net).

Oh, btw, Augustus88, I tried to write you to ask permission to use your image of the Appaloosa bone copperhead which I cropped from your image. However, your email account with bladeforums is bouncing (might want to fix that) and two attempts were returned undelivered.

So, I took the liberty of presuming your permission to allow me to use said cropped image in my photo album. (If you would prefer I delete it, just let me know.)

Anyway, back on topic, the copperhead is a nice knife. A 4" version would be even better imho.

No problem, I don't mind at all.

I'll have to check my bladeforums e-mail to see what the problem is. Thanks for the heads up.

Thank you my friend and you're welcome as well.

Elliott,
Unfortunately my very expensive Verizon(Fios) e-mail won't work on bladeforums. Crazy considering the popularity of Fios. The bladeforums user control panel claims that my work e-mail address is already in use(don't know how that happened). I don't want to create a special e-mail account just for bladeforums. I already have enough online passwords and accounts to remember. Any suggestions?

Best take your question to Service and Support. Perhaps Spark or one of the other mods will be able to provide a specific remedy.
