How come I can't find these in stock?
Have they been discontinued??

The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
As far as I know they are continuously sold out. Keep trying! I hear that it is a sweet knife. Try to find the original too if you have the spare coin.
Good question!
I am planning on belt carry for the weekends, and will be looking for a leather sheath for that. As far as weekdays; I am thinking about slipping it into a dungaree pants pocket so everyone at work will not have to see it.
Thanks
Thats a really cool little knife. Wish they would use D2 or 154cm instead of 440C though, even if Bökers 440C isn't bad
I used to own the custom version at one point. When I got it, it was quite literally duller than a butter knife. At the time, I did not own any sharpening equipment so I sent it out for sharpening.
You can see some of the pics I took of the knife in this thread:

Good one, I have similar plans myself. =) Enjoy your new ridgeback.
From what I understand 440C is a very good all around steel and that nobody does it better than Boker. I have the Vox Ripley in 440C and it is a monster - chopping down trees and still blazing sharp afterward -
440C is awesome stuff - I would not let that stop me from buying this beautiful little knife
Just ordered one from the River store yesterday, also Blad HQ still has some. The $100 Blade HQ Elite exclusive says are expected middle of July so anytime maybe?
I've been really happy with mine since I got it earlier this year.
The only negative I would mention is the sheath, not the best retention, but I remedied that by getting a custom OD green kydex sheath made by our very own "defaultuser"
