Boker Folder

I'm new to Boker knives and don't know a whole lot. What can you guys tell me about this knife? I know it's German, obviously. It looks similar to some old Puma folders. Was Boker affiliated with Puma? Can you date this knife?

Also, what would be a good posting to learn more about Boker?

I'm guessing this is a Boker 4000 Lock Blade Hunter with brass bolsters and Rosewood handles??? Would this be correct? Any idea of a date?

You're correct! This is a model 4000 with brass bolsters and rosewood.
It is still in production and we never had some cooperations with Puma.

I've been told in another forum that the 4000 refers to a stag handle only. Is this true or were there 4000's that were made with Rosewood? Is this knife a factory mistake?

No, this knife is available with stag, rosewood, we had green bone... different variations.
So, don't worry about it, no mistake!
