My wife told me to pick me out a couple of knives for Christmas. I have decided on a Yellow handle Case Peanut cv, I wanted a Case yellowhandle sodbuster[large size],but can't seem to find one, but I did find the Boker sodbuster. And I was wondering if anybody had any info on them.

Thanks for reading.

Never handled that particular Boker, but every other Boker knife I've ever seen was excellent, especially given their relatively low prices.

I had a large boker sodbuster for a few months. It was a well made knife and was very solid. The fit and finish was also good and it had good walk and talk. I gave it away to a friend that is a logger up in the northern part of the state, and he uses it every day and it is his only knife for work and hunting. He seems to like it well enough. Joe

I have had Boker sodbusters, both Arbolito.

Both very good, nice quality blade, good strong knives.

Just sold my spare large one.

Love that carbon steel.

:D

They are good knives for the money. The handle is a bit boxy and doesn't possess the warmth of a comparable Case or Moore Maker. The edge on mine came a bit rough but sharpened up nicely.
