Boker Germany

The Shop is definitely worth a visit !
Very nice staff and sometimes a really good deal
I live too close for my own good though :D

Buy me a round trip ticket and I'll be there!!! My current favorite EDC for my right pocket is a large carbon steel stockman with black jigged bone scales. I liked the "Tree Brand" main blade etch, nice for a collector I guess. I forced a patina, so it's somewhat less obvious. I slice apples and score orange peels (around the circumference, then turn the fruit 90 degrees and repeat for easy peeling) every night. Actually cut up the chicken breast for tonight's supper with it, after getting frustrated with the kitchen knife which I'm much more likely to neglect.
A Case Peanut rides in my left front pocket as of late.

Oh yea, I was carrying my stag scaled medium carbon stockman, but it got left in my pants pocket and went through the wash & dry cycle, and the shield came loose. I stored them together somewhere (of course, I can't remember where) until I get the proper glue to reinstall the shield. So, what would that best glue be? And what would be the best way to treat the now "not so shiny" stag scales?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Sorry, folks no Chance for a sponsored trip... but, did you know, that we have once in a month a shop tour? So, if you plan to come over, contact me and I'll let you know the Dates for the tours.
You can see, how we make our knives in our manufactory....

Kenash, you can use a two component glue, this is what we do too.
Do you want to have your stag scales shiny again?

Just clean the stag, remove us much dirt and oil and then put it back on, put some tension on the scales, that it stays in place while drying
