This is my first time here in the forum due to working on a few of these knives lately. For the price these are great quality. This is an Earth Brown Texture Scale. Started for the Boker Hyper small knife.
It requires easy finishing. Counter bore work and some final finishing.
You remove the steel liner and use only this by boring or drilling in a small amount for the spacers and blade stop.
I am giving this away as I did one for a customer and this one was a template so the jimping is not super sharp. It is close enough.
You will love the knife 10x more when you complete this. Trust me. I became a fan after replacing the old scale.

-Holes are drilled, you just need to complete the last 15 minutes of work by hand. Some sanding for the beveling and your good to go.

Rolf's finished knife post five for a visual. Just post here if you are interested and I will pick a winner by number later. If only one person posts by then its your lol.

Very nice of you, Matt.
Matt pimped my Hyper and he improved the design. The Hyper is a sleeper folder. Try one.
Good luck everyone.

Thank you Rolf.
I loved that thing when I finished it.
This is similar. Shaped blank and holes drilled. The jimping is just not refined like yours and I dont own the knife, so it is just a little bit of fun for somebody.
This will go to tomm evening due to lack of interest. Easy way to pugrade your knife with a little bit of time and skill.
In that case it will go to the first poster.

Someone will jump in at the last minute and win it. :grumpy::D I'm surprised this hasn't drawn a bigger crowd. I guess the Hyper is a truly underappreciated knife.

It is yours.
Send me your info at

All you need are a couple of drill bits to even get it done with decent finish.
And some rough sandpaper to get the bevels.
I use a custom built router table of course for that. But heck its almost done.
Enjoy and post a picture when its done next to my pic.

Thank you, Matt!
If I were you, I'd get a Hyper. btw, the Hyper would look good in Orange.

Bummer. I received an envelope from Matt today in the mail, but it was inside a larger envelope from USPS with a large clear window in the front and "wrong address" written on the outside. I could see the smaller envelope inside and could see the bottom of it was all torn up, with a knife scale shaped chunk torn out of the bottom of it. I also couldn't feel anything inside either envelope. I took the smaller envelope out and... no scale inside...:grumpy: I don't think whoever received it first by mistake took it (why would they?). The way the tear is, it looks like the scale got caught in something and ripped right out, along with most of the envelope around it. Who knows? I even had my Hyper all disassembled and waiting.:( Ah, well. Things happen. Thanks again to BellaBlades for the chance, even though things didn't work out. I'm just stoked that I finally won a bfc GAW. :D

Fudge.
I am so sorry.
I wonder how it went to the wrong place. I hope that was not on me.
If it makes it any better I can send you a free piece of material for you to try. Id give you some carbon fiber but it is all spoken for.
Orange or Digi camo Textured G10.
Layered green and black G10 or solid blue. Oh or glow kirinite..
LMK I will happily give you some material to try and cover first class shipping again with a bomb proof package!
Sorry, and hope I can help you out, just shoot me an email............ bellablades@yahoo.com

Got your email. Thanks again.:cool:

It wasn't you. I still have the envelope here on my desk and the address is correct. Mailman must have just goofed. :( I really appreciate your offer, but it's not necessary. Like I said, things happen. There's no need for you to feel bad about it. Thanks again.
