Both are similar priced. Both are liner locks. Both are G-10. Both are good buys. Just want opinions of anyone that has seen both these knifes upclose. I am just looking for which is better quality.

Honestly, the blade geometry is so radically different between those two knives, I'm rather amazed that you are comparing one with the other. Other than the mechanical attributes they share, they share very little similarity.

Like most here.. I have dozens of knives that i could use. I am comparing price and quality . I hear these two knives are the best-of-the-best for the "best bang for the buck" catagory.

Not to nitpick, but the Hyper is actually a frame-lock similar to the Subcom series. No liners, one side of it is all steel, the handle is just a one-sided scale.

do you have big or little hands? If big Id go with the boker and if medium to small id go for the spyderco.

Having handled neither, but having read glowing reviews of each, I think the Hyper is higher on my want list than the Tenacious.
I prefer framelocks to linerlocks. And prefer 440C to 8Cr13MoV. And I think Chad's blade design is purdier than that of the Tenacious.

But I am curious to see if Boker used actual 440C or a Chinese cognate. The Chinese cognates are OK, but not as good as actual 440C. And I won't know till I try some edge testing.

Blade size wize the Tenacious is a bigger folder then the Hyper . You can compare the hyper to the delica blade size wize and the M-type to the Endura .

Weight on the M-type and Hyper might be less then the Tenacious.

My hyper:(pe sorry;));

I own the hyper and it's a fantastic little knife. However..... I handled a Tenacious and it's heavier and built like a rock. I'd say the Tenacious is a thicker heavier and more robust knife. The hyper is very thin, blade and handle wise.

Heres some pics of the Hyper. I have really big hands, and it's very comfortable for me. I love my hyper, but I'd advise you to get the Spyderco.
