I just received a Pocket Bowie and a Boker Jermer. Like both the knives, but I have one problem: the Jermer is a nice knife but the sheath doesn't fit. Has anyone else had this problem? Seems like the leather at the bottom is a little too tight to accept the front bolster's bottom tip.

Sometimes you have to stretch the leather a little bit. When you are able to close the sheath, store the knife in it, after a whilfe, the leather will accept the Jermer as a new friend. Like with a good pair of boots...

If nothing helps, please contact Terry...

Wrap the knife in wax paper (wax side out). Use enough wax paper to wrap around the knife twice. Then force it into the leather case. Leave it for at least 24 hours. The case will fit the knife after that.
I've used this method on knife cases and gun holsters with success.

Note: sometimes it makes it easier if you leave the holster in the sun for a while, or heat it slowly with a hair drier to soften the leather a little. not too hot now!
