Greetings All. I'm a newbie with an inexpensive knife question.

Ok, so I liked the blade design of the Boker Jim Wagner Push Button lock (not automatic) and for the money ($51) thought how bad could it be? Made in Taiwan BTW so there was clue #1. Well, you get what you pay for....I hope

I'd like to know if any of you own this knife and what you think about the push button lock? I don't trust it!!! Basically there's a small notch at the back of the blade that the lock rests in. From looking at it I would think in time that the edges of the notch will wear thus comprimising the lock's integrity. It just doesn't seem too reliable to me and I don't want to loose any fingers.

Is there anyone with any experience with this lock on this particular knife that can say whether or not it's trustworthy? I noticed the notch that the lock rests in to keep it closed is "bigger" than the notch to lock it open. Why???

Thanks.
