I've come across one on Ebay. Can someone please tell me about them? How is the fit and finish, grind ,models availible, etc.

I did a review of this knife that I have in downloadable PDF form. Fit and finish are good, and the knife is very aggressive (it was also incredibly sharp out of the box).

The company is introducing several new Wagner-designed knives, as I understand it; the Reality Based Blade can be hand in the elongated tanto I reviewed and also a more traditional drop-point blade.

I love my J.Wagner Boker.Very sharp,solid lock-up and deep pocket clip.One of my fav EDC's.

Its not half bad. I like the blade design overall. Some aspects are laughable and dumb but its not hard to get over it if you aren't afraid of being labled a "mall ninja." I find the handle to be very ergonomic. That alone makes up for whatever qualms I have with the mark on the blade, blood grooves and stupid "lashing holes" (that really just give you a great spot to make a ziptie wave).

This is a very good source for all your questions:

It's OK for the money but I'm not overly impressed with it.

Looked at them for a long time before finally buying mine. Made these observations and went back to my Spyderco Yojimbo.

The fake pen tip looks exactly like someone trying to disguise a knife. The scales are a lot bigger than necessary, I think there should be a slimdown of the scales v. blade size -or the blade could be made much larger. The gladius tip does look functional and nasty, but the "stab depth gauge" painted on the blade is pure ninja. I had problems with my blade rubbing against one of the plastic scales, never could get it adjusted so it wouldn't rub before I finally gave up.

I think the Bram Frank Lapu Lapu Corto is a better design (or get the Bram Frank Gunting if you can afford it).

I wasn't even aware that the line on the blade was intended for that, at first, until someone told me, and yes, it is silly, so I ignore it.

The pen tip fooled a coworker of mine. It does look like a pen to the uninitiated.

I like the large handles; they are very comfortable.

Ive read on local knife forum that skullcrusher/glass breaker is prone to break… otherwise very well made knife.

i think they are 'ok' for the $$,

the depth gauge is kinda dorky, but all in all its ok.

It's a good knife, very sharp, great handle, clip and glass breaker. IMHO not very utilitarian, mostly for defense. very cool to have in your collection but very deadly looking and definitely not for the sheepish. BTW, the false pen tip is kind of useless because the knife is way too large and heave for a shirt pocket, which is where I would carry a pen!

Not too impressed, personally. The design just doesn't seem at all useful and I can't stand single-bevel grinds, as I remember the "gladius point" one was. The action was also stiff on the example I looked at, due to overly strong backspring tension.

As I was not the individual claiming that Boker stole designs your comment in this regard is unnecessary. I kindly request that your sarcasm be reserved for someone more deserving.
