Has anyone heard of a an L/E Boker Koji Hara Fighter?? Where would one of these live? Couldn't locate one on the Boker USA page. Anyone own one? Impressions? Help!

I have not seen a Boker knife designed by Koji Hara. I have seen a Buck folder that is a L/E Koji Hara. It is not a fighter, it is a gent's knife.

These I found over at A.G.Russell. They don't say Koji Hara anywhere, but the "airstep" design in the handle says it for them. They are called hunters, but that double ground one sure looks like a fighter. For the price point, they sure look like a great deal, IMHO. These are the closest to your description that I know of, but a collaboration with Boker isn't impossible.

Wow! I just saw the one from the ebay page. That one is way cool! I would have snapped that one up in a second if I had seen it. It went for just over $100:eek: I guess that's one more knife I have to find.

Here is a pic curtesy of A.G.Russell's site

Daniel,

Thanks for the input and the pics. I guess I got a little impatient with my own lack of knowledge and snapped up the e-bay Hara. A serialed signature Hara seemed worth the asking price. If the seller has any more info on these I'll try and post it for all.

Now I'll go and save up for one of those cool AG Russell fixed blade Haras. (Can't believe those slipped by...)

Well it looks like that exact knife is on the German Boker site. It sells for about US$105.00 in Germany. I have not had any experience with this knife, but that seems like a real good value.

Keith, Grey Area, and everone else who checked in,

Thanks for your insights and help.

I went to the German Boker site as posted and had Worldlingo.com run a translation on the descriptions. It looks like a good deal based on the Boker.de asking price. If it comes with multi-lingual papers, I will try and post more info or run it through another translation site for y'all.

Again, thanks for all your help. :)

Stay safe! Stay sharp!
