I recently purchased a sweet 140th anniversary blue bone Boker copperhead. Unfortunately, within a week of owning it, the blue bone chipped. I believe it had a hairline crack and was destined to chip.

Anyway I contacted Boker and explained the situation. Terry at Boker asked me to send my knife in to see if they could repair it. Last week, Terry called me and said it was unrepairable, but offered me a replacement copperhead. Sadly the copperhead I owned had been discontinued. Terry offered me several choices. I picked the King Cutter copperhead with washboard bone handles. It arrived in the mail today. :) While I don't care for the handle on it as much as the knife it replaced, I really appreciate Boker replacing it.

Good to hear. I like Böker carbon knives and believe they give a lot of value, their Whittler is particularly good.

the german made bokers are some of the best traddys still made. they have good alloys & rank very high in bone & stag quality.--dennis
